  I have wanted to put Avon tyres on my new car too because I was pleased with them on my old car. I've put Avon winter tyres on my new car. I've done over 7000 miles with them, including driving at 120 mph on the German Autobahn without any problems. I even went to Romania over the holidays and there was a lot of snow. The winter tyres really helped because the car was great to drive on the snowy roads and I felt a lot safer. The Avon tyres are a good price too, though I did notice a slight increase in fuel consumption, but that is expected with winter tyres. I will put Avon summer tyres on my new car when spring comes and I will keep using the winter tyres next winter.
